Rediscovered my passion..

Today turned out to be a day with events of mixed reactions, both happy and sad.

Yesterday headed to the Clementi Polyclinic to treat my oil burn on my right arm. Waited till 2 hrs for my turn. Meanwhile, grabbed the chance to read my book and listening to my new found fave band of the moment: The Gospellers.

Gospellers are a band of Japanese veteran singers who lent their voices to a beautiful world of R&B and Soul. Actually, I wanted to buy Oshio's new album, but was taken aback when the staggering price of 72 bucks caught my eye at HMV Orchard.
Gospellers 10th Anniversary album then found its way into my hands, and I listened to it. The first accapella song got me hooked, and I debated for a few minutes.

Btw, found out that Oshio's album was Imported directly from Japan, thus the staggering price. But I surfed the net and found the same album selling at HALF of the price.. Needless to say, I bought it.

Highlighted my hair. Went into the salon ard 7pm.. and went out by 10 pm..

I was torn whether to take the blonde highlights or copper red highlights. When I heard the blonde ones will be washed out after 10 washes, I adruptly changed my mind.

The base colour is mahogany brown or sumting like that.. then the highlights are copper red. The intensity is brighter than I expected, though.

Okie, the story went for a detour for a while. Back to today..

Concentrated on doing the most major work. Then found some of the docs that I needed to find. Left office at sharply 1.05 pm.

Met Diana (RSP) at Hougang MRT Station... Btw, she is the latest member to be welcomed into the RSP family. and guess what? she happened to be my junior! She recognised me to be her senior when I was in NPCC.. but I actually dun recall at all.. Ironic, huh?

Went to Punggol CC first, and found ourselves in the wrong place for the 3M traning session. The place is supposed to be Punggol Park CC. We walked down the road, trying to figure out where is the place. Had the intention of not attending the class, but we reached it, and again, stepped into the wrong classroom.

We are supposed to attend the session for parents, but we ended up being surrounded by kids. Lovely kids, coming from all sizes, different background and different races.

My heart was stolen when I spotted this child, her facial features are totally chinese, and wearing a red cheongsam, fitted to her size. She didn't join the class, just running around but not creating noise.

There are some children who are totally lovely, and their radiant smiles just lifted my spirit, eased the 'burden' off my shoulders. This experience reinforces the fact that I'm in this early childcare industry for the long haul. I found what I really, realy liked. THe people connection, the trust you gain with the child.. it's fantastic!

Chatted, gushed and remembering all the moments that we spent with them... Kids, they are so innocent. HE made way the path for me.. I chose to be in this because I love kids, but also trust in His decision.

Looking forward to the day when I can finally go for teaching sessions.

Right now, for this week, gotta endure for a while because the schedule is tight... Juggling work and school, doing project and this 3M session. But I know I will finish all of these, and do all the things with the my effort.
